Savoury baked black pepper chicken wings

It was one of those April nights where the craving for something greasy crept into the mindframe. Immediate action was necessary.

There were some chicken wings in the freezer that were marinated in a light soy sauce and minced garlic. These went straight into the toaster oven to bake for 25 min. Slowly crisping up I stared and waited. Prepared with some Penja black peppercorns in the mill. I couldn’t do this every night, but when I do it’s well worth the wait. And even if I could indulged this way everyday it would take the joy out of killing a craving.

A simple combo to satisfy the craving. The zesty kick from the Penja black pepper put the night in just the right mood. The only problem is that cravings have a like zombie nature. You can never really kill them, they keep coming back and intensify in numbers.
